“Best Life Entertainment was the absolute best investment we made for our wedding. Kris and CJ were a joy to work with. The planning process was organized and clear. They listened extremely well and gave tactful input to help formulate a music plan that matched the vibe we wanted; inclusive of ages and cultures with a few quirky elements to some wedding traditions. They were responsive to last minute changes and attentive to detail. Kris kept the evening moving and guests informed of what to expect with his emceeing, but when it was time to dance, he didn’t insert himself unnecessarily to inject energy in the room, but instead he let the music speak for itself. His ability to read the room was excellent and he made sure the dance floor was always active. Our dance floor was literally splitting apart because he had everyone dancing so hard! And even for the guests who stepped away from the dance floor, they enjoyed how the music was loud enough to be energetic but still low enough to allow conversation. Every detail of the sound experience was fantastic. They even took some video, which was especially valuable since we didn’t hire a videographer. “CJ Paz, or DJ Cj as we called him towards the end of the night, is the best DJ you can ask for! CJ made our wedding guests dance all night! He had the best transitions and the absolute bangerz for our wedding reception! He was thorough with the planning and was very good with communicating. He also has very sound advice on keeping the crowd dancing! My now husband and I danced all night too! Not one bad song the entire night! “Planning an event is really stressful. So before planning my events, I was dealing with a slew of unprofessional people. Best Life was the breath of fresh air that I so desperately needed throughout my planning journey. Not only were they really professional but they also put my mind at ease. They worked well with my other vendors and really did their background work on asking all the right questions to help make the day go by seamlessly (guest size, table arrangement, sound checks in all corners of the room, color scheme, name pronunciations of names). “We had our wedding on 10-9-22 with CJ & Kristian as our DJs. They made our night one to remember as well as made the planning process stress free.

Now more detail: They set up a planning call with us far in advance to gain an understanding of our event and the type of guests we would have. This helped them pick the right type of music to set the vibe specific to our event.

From there we built a Spotify playlist to give them some exact songs they should play. Then they would supplement with their own selections. They also helped build our schedule of events for the reception to cover entrances, cake cutting, toasts, first dances, ect.

We had a final check in meeting to cover the logistics of the event and setup. And the day of the event, they were ready to go. They were also key in keeping the event on schedule and assisted with timing changes that happened during the event.

Overall 10/10. They were a critical part in making our reception a memorable night for everyone in attendance. Many of our guests said it was one of the best, if not THE best wedding they have attended.”

“I apologize in advance for this lengthy review but everyone needs to know how amazing Best Life Entertainment is. We had attended a wedding where Best Life entertainment was playing and one of our favorite memories from that night was...THE MUSIC and dancing. Fast forward a couple of years later when it came time to pick out a DJ for our own wedding and instantly, Best Life Entertainment came to mind. We had the honor of working with Kristian. From the inquiry phase to our Big Day, Kristian was readily available to speak and answer all of our questions. Early on, he set up a video chat to get to know us, and later in the process, as a team, we outlined what the night would look like. This included ceremony songs, entrance songs, speeches, traditions (ex: money dance), and announcements. I am Mexican and my Husband is Filipino. Creating a vibe where both families were up and dancing was no problem for Kristian. Kristian set up a Spotify playlist to incorporate songs that I wanted to be played during the wedding and he killed it! Our dance floor was always full and Kristian ensured that we stayed on track time-wise and stuck to the plan we had set up in advance. Kristian was also very flexible. We had a mariachi come for a portion of our cocktail hour and Kristian was able to coordinate with them. On the biggest day of my life, I can honestly say that without the help of Best Life Entertainment I don’t think our night would have been as memorable or gone as smooth as it had without their services. Having so much going on on your wedding day is stressful, choose a DJ that will communicate with you, listen to your vision for your night, and exceed your expectations. “I was BLOWN AWAY by CJ and Kristian. I am a wedding photographer and I have a lot of friends in the wedding industry. This was the hire I was most nervous about but from the first call, I felt like we were in GREAT hands. There are so many things to coordinate and plan (and we forgot to share a couple things we wanted) but CJ and Kristian made me feel at ease and far exceeded our expectations! “Best Life Entertainment was a pleasure to work with. Everything was perfect. We specifically asked for DJ Kris and he did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding! He was very responsive, willing to do online meetings with us to discuss our preferences and extremely professional throughout the planning process. He asked questions to get a feel for what vibes we wanted throughout the wedding. He even made mixed songs for me and my bridesmaids for our surprise dance to the groom! DJ Kris also handled the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception introductions with professionalism, and he was also very accommodating with any last-minute song requests/changes. He demonstrated positive teaming at every avenue with our vendors and intentionality around clarifying questions to make sure that all aspects of the day were thoroughly planned. THE PARTY WAS LIT - both Kristian and CJ made sure the vibes were well maintained at every point. I highly recommend them. We picked out a large selection of our favorite music (which in my mom’s opinion, was eclectic) but everyone, including my mom, was raving about how the DJ made sure to keep it original and true to us while being relatable and fun for all! Before my wedding in Punta Cana, DR in May 2022, I have experienced Kristian as a DJ at four other weddings I have attended within the past 3 years and each time was amazing.

Kristian is very professional and easy to work with. He goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a good time because a really good DJ knows how to read the crowd! He is also a great emcee that will make sure he gets his entire wording and pronouncing each name of the bridal party right.

My partner and I recently moved to Chicago, where we were having our one-year anniversary celebration. Our reception was delayed a year due to Covid, so this celebration was highly anticipated. Throughout the planning process, CJ was available to chat with us about what our hope was for the day. Talking to him was always great; he was professional, knowledgeable, and provided guidance when we needed it. On the actual day, CJ was attentive, dressed well, and so kind.

He was very professional from the first meeting and patiently worked with us up until the day of the wedding. We were hesitant to even have a wedding DJ because we have such high standards for music and have seen many bad wedding DJs. All those worries melted away, however, when we found Best Life. “We hired DJ Kris for our wedding and oh my gosh, hands down the best decision. He arrived on time, managed set up of audio equipment in three separate locations all by himself, and made sure we nailed down all the details ahead of time so he didn’t have to bother us during first look and bridal party photos. The ceremony music was flawless and reception kicked off smoothly.
Kris managed to keep the night on track and coordinated not only the music, but making sure the toasts started on time, the ceremonial dances got the attention they deserved, and that everyone knew the rest of the dancing was going to take place outside under the stars.
Once we got out there though, it started to drizzle. Rather than letting that change our vision for the night, Kris quickly moved his equipment into a covered area of the barn and was able to keep us dancing all night. We received so many compliments from all of our guests that this was the best wedding music they had heard in so long. Kris kept it fun, universal, and actually spun songs into the next ones like a DJ should. Even the venue loved him so much that they want him to be a preferred vendor!

Throughout the planning process he was quick to communicate with. The day of the wedding we made some changes for the reception and he went above and beyond to make sure that all the details were all taken care of so that things would run smoothly even with the changes. He also just checked in with us during the reception to see if we needed anything. Our guests absolutely loved him too! Many of them told him that they wanted him to DJ their wedding in the future. “These guys were awesome! From the first time I made contact with them to the planning to the event and beyond they were perfect! Very friendly and easy to work with. They’re low maintenance and do everything they can to work with you and fit your style. I knew within five minutes of talking to them on the phone that they were the right fit. They asked all the right questions and had all the right answers. They coordinated with our contact at our reception site by themselves which was super helpful in terms of day-of planning and setup. On the day of the event they were AWESOME! They picked songs right in line with our direction. An hour in to the event there were more older people on the dance floor than younger ones so the DJ asked if he could play some older songs to get the dancers more into it. This ended up being a great call and once the younger people were ready to dance he perfectly transitioned back to the hip hop music we originally wanted. If you need a DJ please at least give these guys a call. They were a 10/10!!!”

“Writing this review about Dj Cj from Best life Entertainment. My Husband and I got married on November 4, 2017. The first time I’ve ever heard Dj Cj spin was back when he use to Dj at Funky Buddha lounge. Funky Buddha was a hip/hop, r&b, 90’s 2000’s club. My Husband and I knew that we wanted a Dj for our wedding that could execute this genre as most of our guests listened to this kind of music. When I spoke w/ Dj Cj on the phone he is very organized, pro active, and attentive to detail. At first I didn’t know what to expect. You just think oh here’s a bunch of music we want you to play and call it a day. Cj took the time to explain what to expect and he walked my husband and I through if we were to book his company for our wedding. Cj had a very detailed spreadsheet to ensure that he is meeting YOUR expectation. My Husband and I had 360+ people at our wedding and Cj ensured he had the best sound equipment to entertain our guest. We ended up booking with Dj Cj and his MC Dj Hammurabi and they did not disappoint. We had a VERY last minute request on the day of our wedding and that was to cut music time for our father/daughter mother/son dance, so our guests could enjoy the dance floor longer and Dj Cj and Dj Hammurabi did just that. I am very pleased as well as our 360+ guests at our wedding. My wedding guests couldn’t stop talking about how great our Dj was. A lot of our guests mentioned that his transition to the next music was “crisp”. Cj did not just “play music” on a computer, but he was actually spinning! Most Dj’s don’t do that anymore and just use a “Playlist”, so I definitely appreciated that. He made sure to take care of EVERYONE and read everyone’s vibes that night. He played oldies music in the beginning for the elderly/middle aged, then turned it into one of the best hip/hop/r&b, 90’s, 2000’s dance floor when the older folks left. Some of the older folks actually stayed because they enjoyed his entertainment. Until this day (I’ve been married for 2 years now) our guests still talk about how great our Dj was and have been asking for his contact information. Would I book this company again? Absolutely! “I truly believe that music makes the wedding. People will dance if the bride is dancing, but my guests did not stop for 6 hours and did not want him to stop. Kris and Best Life were an integral part of my wedding. It was electric. My vision for my wedding celebration/reception was non-traditional and Kris and Best Life Entertainment made sure that my dream came true. It was a fully executed music experience. The lounge music on the first floor set the swanky tone for the heartfelt ceremony. Then the best disco was played and progressed into some all-time favorite EDM bangers. The after-party late night was my own underground club, truly my dream come true with deep house beats. The transitions from one song to another were top-notch as if you were at a club or festival. Although Kris can do the traditional wedding music, he crushed this challenge and gave my guests a night to remember. EVERYONE danced and I was told over and over and by several people that this was “the best music they have heard at a wedding - ever.” To give you some perspective, my friends frequent festivals more than often and they thought he was hands down the best. At the same time, my mother-in-law’s friends also said, “that was some of the best music I have ever heard.” Kris is beyond easy to work with and a GREAT listener. He listens to what you want, can read the room and KNOWS music.”

“I’m writing this review for Dj Cj. He was a key player in making our destination wedding an unforgettable experience. Background: My wife and I were adamant on allocating funds for good music. She had known Cj from previous years and listening to him spin at various clubs and venues. We reached out well in advance to make sure he was available on our date and made the decision that we would fly him out to our wedding in the Dominican Republic. We weren’t sure of the Dj’s that our hotel would provide, and we knew if we had Cj in the fold we would be in great shape. We met Cj a few months before our wedding. He got a feel of how we were as a couple and what our expectations of how the music would look like on our wedding day. My wife prefers the poppy, party songs...I’m more-so of 90’s hip-hop and R & B. Not a problem for Cj. From that encounter, I knew he was a true professional and puts a lot of time honing his craft. Fast forward to our destination wedding: Cj made sure to arrive a few days early...just to make sure there was no issues with inclement weather or what have you. He also brought a lot of his own equipment (on the same page of not wanting to rely on the hotel for anything). Added bonus: he got to hang out with us for a few days, besides being a excellent Dj, he’s super down to Earth and is just an outstanding person. Wedding time: he killed the intros and made sure everyone had their walk-in music. He was able to get the exact versions of of our first dance. Then came his Dj set: Put it this way...it wasn’t his intention, but he had the party JUMPIN’ while they were serving food. Our guests just couldn’t help but finding their way to the dance floor. On top of that, it was three hours of non-stop dancing. He just played hit after hit and knew the exact vibe of the crowd. The pictures don’t lie. Extra extra bonus points: the next day, we talked the pool dj’s into letting CJ get on the turntables and he did another 30 minute set. Our wedding party was going bananas. It was the ultimate cherry on top. I highly recommend Cj, he’s a huge reason to why people still talk about our wedding whenever they see us. It’s an investment you will not regret.”
